How to Start A Fundraising Campaign

What is Kitafund? #

Kitafund is a crowdfunding platform that allows users to create and manage their own fundraising campaigns. Our platform offers two types of fundraising campaigns to accomodate a variety of different needs:

  1. Medical Campaign

These campaigns are focused on raising funds for medical treatment and are divided into two main categories:

    • Human Medical: Campaigns aimed at raising funds for medical treatments, surgeries, or healthcare costs for individuals. We facilitate medical treatments in Malaysia and internationally.
    • Animal Medical: Campaigns focused on the medical needs of animals, including veterinary treatments and surgeries. Currently, we only support animal treatments in Malaysia.
  1. Non-Medical Campaign

These campaigns cover a broader range of needs, including:

    • Education (Scholarship):  Campaigns aimed at raising funds to support students in need of financial assistance for their studies.  Currently, we only facilitate scholarships for Malaysians and foreign students studying in Malaysia, as well as Malaysians studying abroad.
    • Education (University Project): Campaigns designed to raise funds for specific university projects, such as research initiatives or community outreach programs.
    • Humanitarian/NGO: Campaigns that aim to support non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and humanitarian efforts, addressing social issues and community needs.

We aim to provide solutions that meet diverse needs in health, education, and humanitarian causes.
